Abstract

The main objective of this research is to review in the academic literature the terms Corporate Identity, Corporate Image and Organizational Reputation in an effort to condense and organize the existing knowledge in the field of business, in order to help clarify the ambiguity that is generated when using these terms in business and academic circles as manifested by the resistence of problems in identifying the differences among them. The methodology followed consists of a strategy which corresponds to a non-experimental descriptive design, which uses three criteria to review the state of the art. This approach can help identify a set of aspects that are considered to have been insufficiently addressed in the studies conducted to date, in order to contribute to the accurate differentiation of the terms.
