Abstract

This work presents different technological solutions for waste management focusing on their impact on GHG emissions, and therefore, on their contribution to climate change. Several alternatives are shown using Madrid as a case study to quantitatively illustrate differences in carbon emissions and potential effects.El trabajo se centra en el análisis de diversas alternativas técnicas centradas en la disminución de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero ligadas a la gestión de los residuos municipales en la ciudad de Madrid.
