Abstract

Las características propias de las estructuras banda tesa se adecuan de manera muy conveniente a los condicionantes y características de las tres pasarelas previstas dentro del Proyecto para Integración del río Tajo en la ciudad de Toledo. Con una luz máxima de 132.50 metros, estas pasarelas se sitúan en el rango alto de las bandas tesas de mayor luz construidas, y presentan además una relación luz/flecha bastante elevada, en el rango de 60 – 65. El artículo expone el contexto, requerimientos y motivaciones que llevaron a la elección de banda tesa, las características principales de la solución adoptada, y algunas cuestiones y resultados relevantes del análisis. ---------- ABSTRACT---------- The own characteristics of stress ribbon structures fit very conveniently to the requirements and characteristics of the three footbridges planned in the project of integration of the Tajo river in Toledo. With a maximum span of 132.50 meters, these footbridges are among the longest built stress ribbon structures, and present a span to sag ratio quite high, in the range of 60 to 65. The article presents the context, requirements and motivations which led to the choice of stress ribbon, the main characteristics of the solution considered, and relevant issues and results from the analysis undertaken.
