Abstract

----------ABSTRACT---------- The present research describes the NAUTIA (Need Assessment under a Technological Interdisciplinary Approach) methodology designed by the UPM Refugees Platform of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. NAUTIA aims to identify the situation of refugee camps and their host communities and to identify priority needs to improve the quality of life of those population groups. The methodology is applied in refugee camps, which have already moved away from the emergency phase. These camps are currently facing typical problems of permanent settlements. Therefore, NAUTIA methodology supports the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to "leave no one behind".
