Abstract

One of the most effective measures to control the risk of fall in height is the use of Temporary Edge Protection Systems (TEPS). In Europe, the standard UNE-EN 13374 "Temporary Edge Protection Systems. Product specifications. Test methods" specifies the requirements to be met by these systems and means of evaluation to verify compliance with them. In this paper we have evaluated analitically and experimentally three TEPS tube made of steel and it have been obtained the necessary dimensions to meet the standard requirements.
