%X El artículo aborda las necesidades de actividad física de las personas mayores no practicantes pero interesadas en practicar, según sea su condición social. El enfoque metodológico ha sido cuantitativo mediante el método de encuesta, realizándose entrevistas estructuradas cara a cara a una muestra aleatoria y representativa de la población de personas mayores en España. Los resultados parecen indicar claras tendencias en las principales actividades físicas que les gustaría realizar (actividades en sala y actividades acuáticas), y en las expectativas en las características de realización de dichas actividades y los correspondientes servicios. Han sido detectadas ciertas diferencias entre las personas según sea su condición social y el sistema territorial en el que habiten, que convendría seguir estudiando en futuras investigaciones.   The article approaches the needs of physical activity of the older persons not practicing but interested in practising, as it is his social condition. The methodological approach has been quantitative by means of the method of survey, there being realized interviews constructed face to face to a random sample of the population of older in Spain. The results seem to indicate clear trends in the principal physical activities that they would like to realize (activities in room and aquatic activities), and in the expectations in the characteristics of accomplishment of the above mentioned activities and the corresponding services. Certain differences between the persons have been detected as it is his social condition and the territorial system in which they live, that would suit to continue studying in future investigations.
