Abstract

A simple method for obtaining wavelength filters with a prescribed responss is demonstrated. The basis of the method is conexion of series of fibers with different radius and lengths. One bandpass fllter, composed by multimode fibers of different lengths between monomode fibers, is obtained. The center wavelength of filter is 1300 nm with a 3 dB bandwidih of 18 nm.
