Sistema de tomografía virtual y recuperación de imagen

Abstract

En este trabajo se va a programar un sistema de tomografía virtual y recuperación de imagen en Matlab. Este sistema utilizará la transformada de Radon para obtener un senograma de las diferentes atenuaciones de una imagen, previamente generada. Usando este senograma se va a reconstruir la imagen usando proyecciones. Una vez obtenida la imagen reconstruida, se le aplicaran filtros y medidas de calidad para garantizar que es lo más próxima posible a la imagen original. El siguiente paso será hacer un error cuadrático medio entre ambas imágenes para cuantificar matemáticamente las diferencias.---ABSTRACT---This project consists in programing a virtual tomography system and image recovery using Matlab. This system uses the Radon transform to obtain a senogram of all the different attenuations existing in a previously generated image. Once obtained the senogram, it will be used to restore the image with a back projection. The back projection will go through a process of filtering to make sure it is as close to the original image as possible. Once finished the process, the original image will be compared to the one obtained doing a quadratic mean error of both in order to quantify the differences.
