Abstract

This paper shows the design of a radial line slot antenna for applications using the future 5G standard at millimeter waves. The antenna will be designed for multimedia high speed transmission using 20 GHz band in femtocells scenarios. The paper shows the design method for this application, the design of Radial Line Slot Antennas using this design method and the fabrication and measurement of a prototype at 20 GHz band to validate the proposed design. A design method for higher frequency bands is also proposed.
