Desarrollo de un sistema integral de Business Intelligence con Pentaho y otras herramientas de libre distribución

Abstract

Resulta abrumador, y a la vez sorprendente, pensar que hoy en día prácticamente cualquier movimiento que realizamos es posible registrarlo y almacenarlo en sistemas de información. Sistemas que posteriormente analizan y extraen patrones de comportamiento implícitos de los datos para conseguir una mejor toma de decisiones de las organizaciones. Surge y evoluciona de esta manera una solución tecnológica conocida como Business Intelligence. En el proyecto propuesto, se va a implementar una solución integral de estas características desde la definición de los requisitos iniciales, pasando por diseño, desarrollo y finalmente implantación de la solución. Previo al desarrollo, se va a llevar a cabo un análisis y se pondrá en contexto que es un Business Intelligence, como ha surgido y que elementos lo componen. Del mismo modo se realizara también un previo estudio de las herramientas que se van a necesitar.

Abstract:

It is overwhelming, and at the same time surprising, to think that nowadays practically any movement we make is possible to register it and store it in information systems. That analyzes and extracts implicit behavior patterns of the data to achieve a better decision making of the organizations. A technological solution known as Business Intelligence arises and evolves in this way. In the proposed project, an integral solution of these characteristics will be implemented from the definition of the initial requirements, through design, development and finally implementation of the solution. Before the development, an analysis will be carried out and it will be put into context, what is a Business Intelligence, how it has emerged and what elements make it up. In the same way, a prior study of the tools that are going to be needed will also be carried out.
