Elementos para un plan nacional de I+D+i sobre fenómenos de degradación de materiales y gestión del envejecimiento aplicado al sector nuclear español

Abstract

La operación segura y eficiente del parque nuclear español actualmente existente, así como de las nuevas plantas nucleares que eventualmente se construyan en el futuro, pasa por una adecuada gestión del envejecimiento de las estructuras, sistemas y componentes de estas instalaciones. A partir de los trabajos realizados en el seno de este proyecto, se elabora una propuesta de elementos para un eventual plan nacional de I+D+i cuyo objetivo es dar respuesta a las lagunas de conocimiento significativas que persisten en cuanto a fenómenos de degradación de los materiales de las centrales nucleares españolas. La información y los datos de este estudio son fruto de trabajo de investigación en conjunto con entidades y expertos nacionales. Este trabajo pone de relieve la necesidad e importancia de disponer de un plan de estas características; y, sobre todo, identifica y analiza los elementos que deben tenerse en cuenta en dicho plan. El trabajo realizado, junto con la información utilizada, pretenden sentar las bases de creación de un grupo nacional de expertos en la materia.

Abstract

The safe and efficient operation of the currently Spanish nuclear power plant fleet, as well as the new nuclear power plants that will eventually be built in the future, requires proper management of the aging of the structures, systems and components of these facilities. Based on the work carried out within this project, a proposal of elements is elaborated for an eventual national R & D Plan whose objective is to respond to the significant knowledge gaps that persist in terms of degradation phenomena of nuclear power plants’ materials. The information and data of this study are the result of research work in conjunction with national entities and experts. This work highlights the need and importance of having a plan of these characteristics; and, above all, it identifies and analyzes the elements that must be taken into account in the mentioned plan. Elements proceeded from this study, together with the information used, aims to lay the foundations for the creation of a national group of experts in the field.
