Creación de un sistema de soporte para la toma de decisiones, a partir de datos abiertos

Abstract

Desde la época de los 90, el aumento de la cantidad de información que se podía recopilar hizo latente la necesidad de descubrir nuevas metodologías para su tratamiento. A partir de esta necesidad surge la ciencia conocida como Big Data, que permite obtener, unir y analizar información relacionada a un mismo asunto, incluso a tiempo real. En las actualidad, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid mantienen un portal de datos abiertos, donde publica datos en ficheros de texto plano con frecuencias de actualización variables que van desde a tiempo real, a anualmente. Basados en los principios del Big Data, y haciendo uso de los datos que ofrece el portal de datos abiertos del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, este proyecto pretende realizar un análisis de los datos relacionados con los accidentes de tráfico que se producen diariamente en los 21 distritos que conforman el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, a través de los informes generados con la plataforma de SQL Server Reporting Services que se alimentará de un Cubo OLAP, generado a su vez haciendo uso de un Data Mart.
Abstract:
Since the 1990s, the increase in the amount of information that could be collected made the need to discover new methodologies for its treatment latent. From this arises the science known as Big Data, which allows to obtain, join and analyze information related to the same issue, even in real time. Currently, the City of Madrid maintains an open data portal, where it publishes data in plain text files with variable update frequencies ranging from real time to annually. Based on the principles of Big Data, and making use of the data offered by the open data portal of the City of Madrid, this project aims to analyze the data related to traffic accidents that occur daily in the 21 districts that make up the City of Madrid, using a command box generated with the Power BI tool that will be prowered by an OLAP cube, generated in turn by using a Data Mart.
