Abstract
Este trabajo describe un novedoso mecanismo para restringir el giro del manillar de una bicicleta durante el montaje y desmontaje, con el fin de mejorar la estabilidad mientras se va en bicicleta. Al bloquear el manillar al principio y al final del recorrido en bicicleta, se elimina un grado de libertad del conjunto del sistema compuesto por la bicicleta y el ciclista. Por lo tanto, el ciclista solo necesita concentrar sus esfuerzos en pedalear y acelerar la bicicleta hasta la velocidad armónica, con el consecuente aumento en la estabilidad de la bicicleta y, eventualmente, una reducción en el número de accidentes de bicicleta.
