Abstract

La revolución tecnológica en la que nos encontramos resulta imprescindible para entender esta nueva forma de operar. El fenómeno es posible en la medida que la evolución de la tecnología permite imitar los intercambios que antes tenían lugar cara a cara a una escala mucho mayor, gracias a la eficiencia de Internet, combinada con la capacidad de crear confianza entre desconocidos. El amplísimo abanico de herramientas gráficas y técnicas, así como específicos campos de
conocimiento y actuación que rodean y que cada vez rodearán más a los arquitectos, siendo demandadas para representar, divulgar, calcular, ejecutar, controlar los proyectos, comienzan a convertirse en inabarcables para el conocimiento de un solo arquitecto. La especialización de cada uno de los profesionales en un campo se prevé inevitable y positiva para la calidad final de los proyectos. Esto favorece a las grandes corporaciones que serán las únicas que podrán pagar los sueldos de los especialistas en detrimento de los estudios pequeños
con grandes profesionales detrás, pudiendo evidenciar el final estos. Centrándonos en el modelo de economía colaborativa, ArchDeal surge de esta necesidad entre
los arquitectos, siendo una empresa de base tecnológica que desarrolla un negocio disruptivo a través de una plataforma móvil y web para la contratación de servicios especializados entre distintos profesionales de la arquitectura y la edificación, además de facilitar al usuario de a pie una gran oferta de estudios de arquitectura dispuestos a concursar para conseguir su obra. Esto es, no solo arquitectos de profesión, sino ingenieros de caminos, electrónicos, industriales,
especialistas en tecnología audiovisual o maquetistas entre otros. La plataforma pone en contacto a tres tipos de clientes diferentes, una red de buenos
especialistas que ofrecen sus servicios a modo de FreeLancer a los diferentes estudios de arquitectura, toda una serie de pequeños y medianos estudios que requieren puntualmente o de forma constante algunos servicios, además de tener la posibilidad de conseguir clientes para su negocio y usuarios finales, que nada tiene que ver con el mundo de la arquitectura, pero que
desean realizar una obra en su domicilio. ArchDeal como intermediario, ofrece los medios para que todas las partes se pongan en contacto, automatice los concursos para la selección de los candidatos, así como, garantice el pago y la calidad del trabajo final. Gracias a reseñas, opiniones y comentarios al finalizar un
servicio, tanto los especialistas como los estudios serán cada vez más visibles y reconocidos en la plataforma. En resumidas cuentas, ArchDeal es una startup creada por dos socios que propone una plataforma colaborativa, nueva en el sector de la arquitectura, satisfaciendo las preocupaciones de medianos y pequeños estudios, de nuevos profesionales, y de clientes finales, aspirando a ser un referente a nivel mundial.

The technological revolution in which we are immerse is critical for understanding this new idea of doing architecture. The evolution of technology, and specifically the emergence of Internet, give us the opportunity not to reproduce economic interactions to a bigger scale but to increase their efficiency and their reliance. Modern architects are being actively asked to have deep understanding of very diverse data and
graphical software, in addition to develop highly technical skills to carry out successful projects. Day after day, it becomes more and more difficult that just one architect achieves to meet these skill and knowledge requirements. The specialization of each professional in his area is known to be imminent, and it has a positive
impact in the rate of success of each project. However, this benefits the large companies in detriment to the small ones, since only the big corporations can face the cost of hiring a multidisciplinary team, composed by different employees who excel in their areas of expertise. The construction sector is not an exception: the profession of architect has been importantly
affected by the new organization of the workplace and the new abilities requested by it. Archdeal emerges from this need of adapting the architect interactions to this new economic paradigm. It is start-up that proposes a totally new collaborative platform, which intends to facilitate the labor linkage among companies and professionals of the constructions sector, was we as give easier access to individuals to the services offered by the studios. Archdeal presents itself as technology-based company, which offers the possibility to small and medium-size studios to get connected with architects and other professionals from the construction sector who would like to offer their services was freelancers through a mobile and web platform. Moreover, the platform automatizes the candidates’ selection process for the studios and it guarantees the security of the payments. Thanks to the reviews and comments of the clients and individuals, the studios will be more divisible and valued in the platform. In addition to that, Archdeal offers the opportunity to ordinary consumers to get in contact with
different architect studios and propose them their home improvement job. This would allow individuals to actively participate in the projects as well as to get access to more competitive prices while it will also help studios to increase their potential consumer base. To sum up, Archdeal as a startup, tries to encourage architects, construction-sector professionals, studios and individuals to create and foster a totally new and productive economic linkage among them.
