Concurso de fotografía y video : una experiencia en la ETSAM-UPM = Photography and video competition : an experience at ETSAM-UPM

Abstract

El elevado número de contenidos a impartir en cada una de las asignaturas de grado implica que, en la mayor parte de las ocasiones, los alumnos presenten dificultades para correlacionar distintos tipos de materias en el ejercicio profesional. Sin embargo, dicha tarea es fundamental para garantizar el entendimiento y las interrelaciones existentes. Para atender a esta necesidad, desde la Escuela de Arquitectura de la UPM y en el marco del Proyecto de Innovación Educativa TRAINCO (la TRansversalidad entre las INstalaciones y la COnstrucción en la arquitectura), llevada a cabo durante el cuatrimestre de primavera del año lectivo 2017-2018, se plantea como reto aunar dos de las disciplinas que enriquecen un proyecto arquitectónico: construcción e instalaciones, contando con la participación de tres asignaturas. Para abordarlo se ha recurrido a una de las metodologías de aprendizaje que consideramos más interesante y sugerente: el aprendizaje experiencial mediante un concurso de fotografía y video. ---------- ABSTRACT---------- The high number of contents to be taught in each of the different undergraduate subjects means that, in most cases, students have difficulties in correlating different types of subjects in their professional practice. In order to attend this problem, from the School of Architecture of the UPM and within the framework of the Educational Innovation Project TRAINCO (the TRANsversality between the Facilities and the Architecture in Architecture), carried out during the fourth semester of spring of the 2017-2018 school year, the challenge is to combine two of the disciplines that define and enrich an architectural project: construction and facilities, with the participation of three subjects. To address this, we have resorted to one of the learning methodologies that we consider most interesting and suggestive: experiential learning through a photography and video contest.
