This era of information is evolving. Every day, people get forced to adapt their personal devices and technologies for the overwhelming amounts of data which are larger and larger. At the same time we need the proper systems to hold this data secured and protected, it is necessary to develop new services which allow us to acquire enough knowledge about our datasets’ most simple and general characteristics and properties. That is why this project, which originally has been developed as a Final Degree Project, is meant for bringing to light the amount of utilities – served by web technologies -, which let us to completely analyze our own document corpus by means of interactive graphs. It will be possible thanks to technologies made for this purpose of managing data and access to information about sets of documents, instead of making an analysis of just individual units. For the main action of saving and giving the web application a way to retrieve data in a very powerful and reusable form, Elasticsearch is chosen to be the element to act as a database. For the graphs and data visualizations, D3.js will be the JavaScript tool that will provide the functions and SVG element design to create the diagrams that will represent the document sets data. Finally, the website will be implemented as a client-side Angular framework web app, which will satisfy the compatibility between Elasticsearch and D3.js thanks to its ECMAScript 6 (ES6) language base and its Model-View-Controller and component fundamental architecture.
