Tear Down y Knolling. Estrategias para el aprendizaje del proyecto arquitectónico = Tear Down and Knolling. Strategies for learning the Architectural Design

Abstract

El tear down y el knolling son dos movimientos utilizados en redes sociales. Ambos permiten visibilizar la estructura de objetos o conjuntos de cosas que mediante la separación; clasificación y nuevo orden de las partes que los constituyen dan lugar a realidades distintas de las que los originaron. Son movimientos que pueden llegar a convertirse en técnicas de organización utilizadas como estrategias de proyecto. En este sentido; algunos arquitectos han reconocido cómo la organización forma parte de sus procesos de trabajo; especialmente en un contexto donde la abundancia de información y material disponible obliga a proyectar partiendo de lo que ya existe. Por ello se analizan ambas técnicas para utilizarlas en el aula; no solo como herramientas de representación visual traídas del mundo del objeto técnico sino como estrategias de proyecto aplicadas a la docencia. La metodología generada favorece el pensamiento fragmentado y sistemático y permite a los estudiantes aprender a trabajar con la complejidad. Además; las arquitecturas resultantes tienden a ser sistemas abiertos que responden a las condiciones de adaptabilidad y flexibilidad que requiere la contemporaneidad. ----------ABSTRACT---------- Tear down and knolling are two social networks movements. Both allow visualizing the structure of objects or sets of things that through separation; classification and reorganization of the parts that constitute them give rise to new realities that are different from those that originated them. These movements could be organizational techniques used as design strategies. In this sense; some architects have recognized how organization is part of their work processes; especially in a context where the abundance of information and available material requires designing from what already exists. Therefore; both techniques are analyzed to be used as pedagogical tools; not only as instruments of visual representation brought from the world of the technical object; but also as design strategies applied to teaching. The methodology generated develops fragmented and systematic thinking and allows students to learn to work with complexity. In addition; the resulting architectures tend to be open systems that respond to the conditions of adaptability and flexibility that contemporaneity requires.
