Abstract

At the time of writing there exists no consensus about the approaches to detect, propagate and describe changes in resources and datasets of the Linked Open Data Web. This survey gives a comprehensive overview of the current technical solutions and a comparison of such based requirements we derived from use cases the community came up with. We give a detailed overview about the aspects of discovery, granularity level, and description of the changes, as well as the detection algorithms and notication mechanisms. Moreover, we present a high-level dataset dynamics stack that integrates the current technical solutions for dealing with changes in datasets of the Web of Data.
