Abstract

The Edumeet Conference is a space-time to share transferable experiences that allow us to rethink the future of education and the university, establishing a new contract with the world. In its first edition, Edumeet proposes to look at our reality, in search of contexts where research and innovation is generated from any field: technology, science, design, collaboration or entrepreneurship, from any formal or informal practice. We believe that many present realities mean valuable conditions for improving the future learning, and that these useful experiences can be transferable. A conference that is more than a conference, in which we will also explore academicexperimental research formats. We propose four lines of research in this first edition: 1. Teaching-learning methodologies. What trends, tools, agencies and contexts anticipate the future of education? We seek for research cases, experiences or projects that show new education paths. 2. Transfers the real. What experiences outside of education can be crucial to positive change in university? We look for new connections between real experiences and educative innovation. How can public/private/ social institutions empower new realities? 3. Hybrid reality. What kind of new strategies dealing with on-site / online life can empower education? We are curious about the potential of virtual tools in order to articulate new educative-learning spaces. 4. Revolutions from/to the University. How is it possible to produce ecological or techno-social impact from the academy? How can we build a renewed contract between the university and the world? Edumeet conference 2020 took place in Madrid -ETSAM- (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and online, on 4th December 2020. The initial event, in a debate-workshop format, was conducted by Antonella Broglia. The event consisted of a dialogue and the construction of a collaborative cartography of Edumeet through two sessions. Each one of them started with some inspirational talks by Atxu Amann, Berta Lázaro, Felipe César Londoño, and Enrique Nieto, including also a panoramic selection of researches and experiences received at Edumeet about transfers, methodologies and revolutions that cross the futures of education, university and reality. The scientific call of Edumeet received 39 research proposals. 34 of them were invited to evolve the papers in a second phase. We receive 28 full papers at the end, reviewed again by a double blind pair protocol. These 28 papers take part of these conference proceedings to be indexe
