This master’s final project is based on doing research, understanding and implementing anomaly detection techniques. A study is made on anomaly detection including the concepts of this field, different techniques and where they are applied today. The main goal of the thesis was to create a set of services available for users implementing applications that could require them. As a consequence an API has been implemented. In this thesis we first present the main requirements we asked for the services and later we will present the design and the implementation. We will end up with an application in which show how these services can be called to perform different anomaly detection problems. We have used different tools to be able to implement and launch the API, tools that have been documented to. The API that has been implemented is public, it has been launched using a Heroku server so anyone interested can make use of it. It has also been used swagger UI to create a web view that allows to visualize and interact with the API’s resources without having any of the implementation logic in place. As it has been previously mentioned we will show the behavior of the services and the API with simulated use cases that have been designed for this purpose.
