Desarrollo de un plugin de navegador web para contrastar información falsa en la red social Twitter

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) consiste en el análisis, diseño e implementación de una extensión para el navegador Google Chrome que mediante el uso de tecnologías como React y TypeScript sea capaz de mostrar información relacionada con una publicación de la red social de Twitter. En este contexto, se pretende desarrollar una herramienta para Twitter que sea compatible con el navegador Google Chrome y que a través del uso de una arquitectura llamada FacTeR-Check sea capaz de permitir al usuario obtener bulos vinculados con el texto de un tweet que él desee, ofreciendo a la sociedad una forma de luchar contra el problemático fenómeno de la desinformación mediante la detección de noticias falsas. Como funcionalidades adicionales, el plugin además permitirá al usuario extraer bulos vinculados sobre cualquier texto que él mismo introduzca por teclado o seleccione en cualquier web.
Abstract:
This Final Degree Project (TFG) consists of the analysis, design and implementation of an extension for the Google Chrome browser that, through the use of technologies such as React and TypeScript, is capable of displaying information related to a publication on the Twitter social network. In this context, it is intended to develop a tool for Twitter that is compatible with the Google Chrome browser and that, through the use of an architecture called FacTeR-Check, is capable of allowing the user to obtain hoaxes linked to the text of a tweet that he wishes, offering society a way to fight against the problematic phenomenon of misinformation by detecting fake news. As additional functionalities, the plugin will also allow the user to extract hoaxes linked to any text that he himself enters by keyboard or selects on any website.
