Abstract
This volume continues the task of publishing contents of the sketchbooks of Norman Foster that are kept in the archive of his foundation. This Volume II encompasses the period 1981-1985, a total of 210 sketchbooks. It starts with Foster Associates fully devoted to the Hong Kong bank: a project that would take up the whole quinquennium, construction wrapping up in November 1985 and the building’s official opening held in April 1986. Hence, the end of Volume II is likewise connected to the Hong Kong project.
