The surface acoustic wave forms a diffraction grating which allows us to excite the long lived phononlike branch of the hybridized graphene plasmon-phonon dispersion with infrared laser light. Our approach avoids patterning the graphene sheet, does not rely on complicated optical near-field techniques, and allows us to electrically switch the coupling between far-field radiation and propagating graphene plasmons. date: 2014 date_type: published full_text_status: public pres_type: poster pagerange: 1-1 event_title: NanoSpain 2014 event_location: Madrid, Spain event_dates: 11/03/2014 - 14/03/2014 event_type: conference institution: Isom department: otro refereed: TRUE book_title: NanoSpain 2014 rights: by-nc-nd citation: Schiefele, Jürgen and Pedrós Ayala, Jorge and Sols, Fernando and Calle Gómez, Fernando and Guinea, Francisco (2014).
