Different capabilities have been demonstrated such as the control of the timebandwidth product and the frequency tuning increasing the flexibility of the generated waveform compared to coherent techniques. Moreover, the use of differential detection improves considerably the limitation over the signalto- noise ratio related to incoherent processing. date_type: published date: 2015-04 publication: Optics Express volume: 23 number: 10 pagerange: 13634-13640 id_number: 10.1364/OE.23.013634 institution: Telecomunicacion department: Tecnologia_fotonica_2014 refereed: TRUE issn: 1094-4087 official_url: https://www.osapublishing.org/oe/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-23-10-13634 comprojects_type: MINECO comprojects_code: TEC2011-26642 comprojects_acronym: NEWTON citation: Rius, Manuel and Bolea Boluda, Mario and Mora, Jose and Ortega, Beatriz and Capmany, José (2015).
