To this end, is studied the structural problem of the Bernoulli beam in several cases with different load and boundary conditions. We compare the result with that obtained with the finite element method calculated by SAP 2000 program and we obtained conclusions regarding the use of the numerical method for solving engi-neering problems in situations where the classic schemes of finite differences are limited.
