        abstract = {El presente trabajo trata de realizar un an{\'a}lisis en profundidad de la pr{\'a}ctica de la reutilizaci{\'o}n adaptativa en el contexto de las ciudades hist{\'o}ricas como {\'A}vila. Esta es una pr{\'a}ctica flexible, que puede realizarse sobre cualquier estructura preexistente. Su aplicaci{\'o}n, sin embargo, sobre edificios patrimoniales, est{\'a} limitada por el planeamiento y el marco legislativo vigente, as{\'i} como por las teor{\'i}as sobre restauraci{\'o}n que han ido realiz{\'a}ndose a lo largo de la historia. Primeramente se investigar{\'a} acerca de la evoluci{\'o}n de estas teor{\'i}as, as{\'i} como de los conceptos relacionados con otras pr{\'a}cticas de campos adyacentes, para poder analizar posteriormente el patrimonio abulense, entendi{\'e}ndolo desde la perspectiva de las intervenciones que se han llevado a cabo. En esta l{\'i}nea, se pretende entender c{\'o}mo estas intervenciones han afectado al entorno urbano {--}en el contexto de la problem{\'a}tica de despoblaci{\'o}n que sufre la ciudad{--}. De esta manera, el objetivo ser{\'a} generar, por un lado, una herramienta gr{\'a}fica de an{\'a}lisis del patrimonio, y adem{\'a}s, una metodolog{\'i}a de intervenci{\'o}n sobre el mismo = This work aims to analyze the practice of adaptive reuse in the context of Historic cities such as {\'A}vila. Adaptive reuse is a flexible practice that can be performed on any existing structure. However, its application on heritage buildings is restricted, on the one hand by urbaninistic regulations, and on the other, by the historical evolution of restoration theories. An investigation of this evolution is carried out, as well as about the concepts related to other practices of neighbour fields, in order to be able to subsequently analyze the heritage of {\'A}vila, understanding it from the interventions that have been carried out. In adittion, it is intended to examine how these interventions have affected the urban environment, {--}in the context of the problem of depopulation suffered by the city{--}. In this way, the aim of the work will be to generate, from a graphic tool for heritage analysis, to an intervention methodology on it.},
