Resumen

The universities, as producers and distributors of knowledge, are a major driver of technological innovation and economic growth. The evolution of Knowledge Transfer Office depends on their role as brokers of collaborations with different stakeholders according to their mission and capacity to face the innovation gap. Building upon recent conceptualizations of different theories related to university knowledge transfer office, we develop an integrative model for understanding the institutional effects of the KTO in the university social responsibility.
