Sistema de gestión de configuraciones para una red telemática utilizada en laboratorios docentes

Resumen

La sociedad del siglo XXI está expuesta a una continua evolución en el campo de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones (ICT), tendiendo a un mundo más interconectado y flexible. Bajo estos requisitos y existiendo la necesidad de crear una red más segura y fácil de mantener, el propósito de este proyecto es añadir a la red de comunicaciones utilizada en varios laboratorios docentes de asignaturas de telemática del departamento DTE-UPM un sistema que mejore su seguridad y facilidad de gestión.
En primer lugar se hace un estudio de la situación actual del laboratorio para prácticas docentes telemáticas, buscando posibles mejoras en la gestión de la red. Una vez obtenidos los resultados, se pone en marcha un análisis, diseño y despliegue de posibles soluciones, como es usar protocolos más seguros para el acceso a los equipos o crear un sistema de configuraciones para que sea más flexible el cambio de configuraciones de los equipos de la red.
Finalmente, se realizan pruebas que muestran la mejoría en la gestión de la red y se extraen las conclusiones de las mismas, proponiendo mejoras y posibles fuentes de desarrollo futuro.
ABSTRACT.
Nowadays our society is immersed in an increasing evolution of the technology, and is aimed towards a safer and more communicated world. In order to get a better managed and safer network, the aim of this project is the design and implementation of a platform capable of loading and obtaining the configurations of the networking equipment used in the telematic networks laboratory of the department of telematic and electronic engineering.
Firstly, the initial configuration and state of the network lab is collected and analyzed in order to get the appropriate methods that could be used to obtain the main goal of this project.
Once the previous step is carried out, the analysis, design and deployment of possible solutions, including a safer access to the equipment and the creation of a more flexible configurations management system, are performed.
Besides the documentation and the creation of the new platform, a series of tests have been carried out to verify the correct functioning of the platform.
Finally, all the results have been collected, and their discussion as well as recommendations to optimize the created platform in the future is described.
