Introducción a TIA Portal con S7-1500

Abstract

Este Proyecto Fin de Carrera tiene como principal objetivo la presentación del TIA Portal y el S7-1500; el nuevo entorno de configuración y programación de los elementos utilizados en las instalaciones industriales y el nuevo PLC respectivamente, ambos del fabricante alemán Siemens, una de las principales empresas del sector. En la primera parte se realiza una breve introducción de la historia de los PLCs de la marca alemana, haciendo una descripción detallada del funcionamiento del S7-1500; seguidamente se describen el resto de elementos disponibles de la parte de visualización, control de movimiento y comunicaciones; para con ello dar una idea general de la utilización de los componentes y que opciones existen. En la segunda parte se describen todas las opciones disponibles en el software dependiendo de los elementos añadidos, así se podrá comenzar a trabajar con cada uno de los mismos; S7-1500, pantalla y variador. En la parte final se realiza un ejemplo de aplicación en el cual se utilizan todos los elementos descritos anteriormente, en este caso se ha optado por implementar un posible control del transporte de materiales. Se ha comenzado por detallar la configuración hardware realizada así como la parametrización de los variadores. Seguidamente los aspectos más importantes de la programación del PLC con la descripción de los modos de funcionamiento de la aplicación, bloques y memorias utilizados, etc. Por último se detalla también la “runtime” de visualización con la que interactuará el operario final para observar la respuesta de la aplicación, detectar posibles problemas de la instalación o cambiar el modo de funcionamiento. Para dar una idea del coste económico que supondría el llevar a cabo esta aplicación, se ha añadido un presupuesto con el precio de cada uno de los componentes utilizados así como la mano de obra. Para finalizar se indican las conclusiones sobre la utilización de ambos (TIA Portal y S7-1500) y de sobre todo, disponer de estos y el resto de elementos utilizados en la instalación, bajo un mismo entorno. ABSTRACT. This Project has as main objective a presentation of the TIA Portal and the S7-1500; the new environment of configuration and programming of the elements used in the industrial facilities, and the new PLC respectively, both of them from German manufacturer Siemens, one of the main companies in the sector. In the first part, an introduction of the German brand’s PLCs is shown, detailing below a performance description of S7-1500, an overview of HMI and Motion control elements as well as a communication protocols available. With this information it has an idea for using all the components. The TIA Portal options depending on the kind of the device are described. So it can start working with them; S7-1500, panels and converter thanks to the different software tools included (STEP7, WinCC and SINAMICS Startdrive). An application example is developed in the last part, where all the components introduced before have been used. It is selected an application for controlling the transport of materials. First of all, it has begun to detail the hardware configuration made and parameterization of drives. Then is shown the most important PLC programming aspects with the operating modes description of the application, and also some blocks and memories used, etc. Finally describe the HMI runtime aspect and how it works, this will be the interface where the operator can see how the application response is, detect some errors or change the operating mode. For give an idea about the application economy cost, a budget with the entire components price is included. Finally it show some conclusions about using both of them (TIA Portal and S7-1500), and most important, the advantages to provide every elements using in the industrial facilities under the same environment, to perform the configurations as well as a complete diagnosis of all components.
