Abstract

The objective of this paper is to understand the evolution of requirements engineering from traditional methods up to agile methods. In that way, the first step of the study is to review Some of the traditional methodologies in terms of engineering requirements are concerned. Later A brief review of the agile processes or methods is made, making a small comparison for understand the difference. For this, we will differentiate "traditional" from "agile" methodologies. It really is differentiation is not simple, since each methodology should be divided into processes, methods or artifacts, which are then used in different methodologies, whether agile or not.
