Vers une attitude (Hacia una actitud). Actitud, experiencia y libertad en Lacaton &Vassal

Resumen

Detrás las obras de arquitectura siempre hay una actitud con la que se afrontan los proyectos. A través de las obras de la pareja de arquitectos franceses Lacaton & Vassal profundizaremos sobre sus referencias y su manera de hacer arquitectura. Partiendo de las experiencias que vivieron en África, estudiaremos qué significa el habitar y cómo priorizar las necesidades de los habitantes frente a arquitecturas-espectáculo. Disfrutaremos de espacios amplios dotados de gran libertad que construyen el doble de espacio por el mismo precio, remarcando el valor de lo existente y tratando de evitar la demolición. Gracias a la entrevista realizada al estudio podremos, conocer y confirmar estas premisas de manera personal. No solo se trata de conocer las obras de arquitectura del estudio francés sino también a los arquitectos que hay detrás.

Behind the works of architecture there is always an attitude with which the projects are faced. Through the works of French architects Lacaton & Vassal, we will explore their references and their architecture. Based on their experiences in Africa, we will study what it means to inhabit and how to prioritise the needs of the inhabitants compared to spectacle-architectures. We will enjoy large spaces endowed with great freedom that build twice as much space for the same price, highlighting the value of the existing and trying to avoid demolition. Thanks to the interview with the studio, we will be able to get to know and confirm these premises personally. It is not only about getting to know the architectural works of the French studio, but also the architects behind them.
