Resumen
The typification of Linum setaceum (Linaceae), is discussed. The designation of the nomenclatural type is based on an
assessment of Brotero’s original elements and the literature cited in the protologue. The name is lectotypified using an
illustration published in the protologue and an epitype is also selected.
