Technical objects with a Tendency Towards Naturality

Resumen

Some architectural works are a special kind of technical object. Simondon arguedd that these always have a genesis, and are part of a series that keeps evolving towards unity and convergence, towards the maximum integration and functional overdetermination of its parts. To choose the model of genetic evolution, Simondon prevents classical dualisms like artificial vs. natural, erasing the ontological differences between organic and inorganic matter.In their evolutionary process, technical objects show a tendency to integrate their natural environment, in order to reduce their dependance on humans, thus diminishing their artifitiality, to approach the mode of existence of living beings.Some architectural works by the author are presented here to illustrate the technical objet’s trend towards naturality.
